SMS Terms of Service
Description of SMS Program:
Moeller Plumbing & Electric operates two SMS messaging programs for customers who have opted in to receive text messages from us:
1. Customer Care Program (Transactional): This program sends service-related messages to customers who have requested plumbing or electrical service from us. Messages include appointment confirmations, on-the-way notifications when a technician is en route, job completion confirmations, service follow-ups, and post-service review requests. Consent for this program is collected verbally at the time of service intake.
2. Marketing and Informational Program (Low Volume Mixed): This program sends promotional offers, seasonal specials, reactivation outreach to past customers, and occasional informational notices (such as holiday hours or service area updates). Consent for this program is collected exclusively through a separate, optional checkbox on our website contact form at https://www.moellertx.com/contact. Marketing consent is collected separately from transactional consent and is not bundled with any service or purchase requirement.
Consent to Receive Messages
By providing your phone number to Moeller Plumbing & Electric and opting in (verbally for service-related messages, or via website checkbox for marketing messages), you agree and acknowledge that Moeller Plumbing & Electric may send account notifications, customer care, and marketing text messages to your wireless phone number for updates related to customer care, account notifications, and marketing services.
No mobile opt-in or text message consent will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. Information obtained as part of the SMS consent process will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.

Message Types and Examples
Customer Care Example: Good morning Sarah, this is Moeller Plumbing & Electric. We wanted to give you a courtesy reminder of your scheduled service appointment tomorrow at 9 a.m. Reply STOP to opt out of SMS messaging.
Marketing Example: Hi Jeff, this is Moeller Plumbing & Electric. We're reaching out regarding your request for a free estimate on your plumbing/electrical project. Reply STOP to opt out of SMS messaging.
Account Notification Example: Good evening Sarah, this is Moeller Plumbing & Electric. This is an account notification that your service appointment has been confirmed for [date/time]. Reply STOP to opt out of SMS messaging.
Message Frequency
SMS frequency will vary depending on the type of communication and your relationship with our business. Transactional messages are typically 1–3 per service appointment. Marketing messages are typically 1–2 per customer per month. Up to 1,000 messages daily company-wide.
Opt-Out Instructions
You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. Once you reply STOP, you will receive a confirmation message and will not receive further SMS messages from that program. To opt back in after opting out, reply START to any previous message or contact us directly.

Message and Data Rates

Carrier Liability Disclaimer
